Home Windmills

Note: All my Home Windmills posts written in this blog are based on my experience making my own Home Windmill (Windmill Power) through the step-by-step manual Book and Videos from Earth4Energy.

Before start talking about the Step-by-Step Manual that helped me to build my Home Windmills to get my Windmill Power for my house I will show you how much I’m saving after 7 months.

Normally my home electricity bills were between $200 and $250, so I’ll consider $250 monthly to do my calculation, it was $3.000 by year spent in electric power. Nowadays my monthly bills are around $40, now let’s just do the math, now I’m spending in average $480 by year. My Wind Power Project save me almost 85% of money, in other words I’m saving around $2.500 by year. Now multiply that for 10 years… if we not consider the electric bills price will increase, I will save at minimum $25.000 dollars, it is a lot of money. In the firsts three months I’ve already paid my Home Windmill.

And how much was my investment?

Let’s do the math of how much I saved in 7 months with my Home Windmills.

  • If I kept my normal electric power my spent would be $250 x 7(months) = $1.750
  • Now with my Home Windmills I spent $314,97 (installation + materials) + $40 * 7 (months) = $594,97
  • My saving is $1.750 – $594.97 = $1.155,03 (HUGE Money)

Just to give you more information, before I decided to do my Windmill by myself, I made some calls to companies that install that kind of residential windmills but guess what… They asked between $6.000 and $12.000 to install it. Definitely it is not worth, it would take years to be paid.

My Opinion about the Material I followed to build my Home Windmills.

The Earth4Energy Book and Videos is great, everything is explained step-by-step with some diagrams, a list of materials to buy and you also have some videos to illustrate it better.

You will receive a book and video tutorials and some bonus completely free about other kinds of alternative power.

The only thing that I didn’t agree is about the investment told by them, they wrote that you can spend around $100 but if you build a windmill that costs $100 it will not generate Windmill Power enough to your house. In my point of view a good budget to your Home Windmills is between $120 and $170.

The first thought before I bought it was the worries of how much experience do I need to build it? I’ve never built anything before. If you have the same thought, don’t worry about it, because it is really very easy to follow all the steps and you can do your Home Windmill in the weekend.

Home Windmills

Home Windmill

In this post I will show you 4 reasons to build your own Home Windmills to generate green energy through windmill power. As you know the cost of energy is increasing day by day and many people are looking for an alternative energy to run out of the electricity bills.

#1: Building by Yourself your Home Windmills is Cheap!

I’ve wrote this before and I will tell you again, I did some calls to companies and asked for prices of the hole system installed. I received three different proposals ($5.850,00 | $8.700,00 | $12.300,00). Yes those numbers were the prices that I received, they are very expensive, of course there are differences on the systems proposed but not fair. I did some fast calculation, if I spend around $10.000,00 on my Home Windmill System, I will take around 5 to 8 years to pay it off, not interesting for me.

When you build your Home Windmills by yourself you can’t imagine how much you can save in the construction and still generate as much energy as the proposed systems for me . I discovered the Earth4Energy Manual that specifies all the materials we need to buy to build our home made windmill. The manual says that all costs will be around $120, in my personal case I spent a little bit more ($265) because I built 2 Home Windmills to generate the double of the Windmill Power.

Home Windmill Working

#2 Huge Energy Saving with your Renewable Energy

That is the most important point, at least for me. The end of the electric bills was my motivation to start on this green energy alternative. You can generate windmill power enough with one simple Home Windmill to your house depending of your energy consumption.

3# Make Some Extra Cash with your Alternative Energy

This is a point that I didn’t know pretty good because in my city the electric company does not have the system to buy energy from others. But I read in other sites about some companies buy energy from others, in other words, if you generate more electricity than your consumption you can sell that green energy and make some money. For sure the money that you will make it is not a big money, but it is still money.

4# The World appreciate your use of Green Energy

Well, I don’t need to tell that when you use a renewable energy as your source of electricity you are helping to get the world better without pollutes the atmosphere with it.

Final Considerations about Home Windmills

When you decide to build a windmill by yourself you have to be sure to build it professionally to get the results expected. After some research I found in a forum the Earth4Energy Manual well rated for the people and I decided to get it as my source of knowledge. I can tell you that I did a good choice, I don’t know if it is the best manual, but it works perfect to me. Today I have two Home Windmills working and generating windmill power to my home.
